At the heart of our yoga practice is the breath
It is the breath that renews our yoga practice to keep it fresh, real, transformative and deeply meaningful. We will explore active and flowing asana, pranayama, chanting,yoga nidra and meditation with an emphasis on following the breath where it leads us.
Hepburn Retreat Centre Gardens & Accommodation
The breath helps us explore the more subtle aspects of our practice as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, including pratyahara (turning inwards), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (our essential nature). As we give ourselves to the breath we can relax into who we really are and directly experience a natural ease and buoyancy in life.

This retreat is ideal for those who have some yoga and meditation experience and want to deepen their yoga practice. Enjoy time out from daily life in bush surrounds, with delicious vegetarian meals and the inspiring practices of yoga and meditation.
Anahata Giri has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 20 years and teaching for 7 years. She currently teaches at The Gertrude Street Yoga Studio and Prana House.
