Over the last few months, many people have travelled from Melbourne and regional Victoria to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the back streets, lanes and gardens of Daylesford in search of edible wild plants.
Hepburn Retreat Centre's magnificent vegan chef, Alexis Pitsopolous, has been showing budding gourmets what’s growing right under their feet, and discussing the culinary and medicinal uses for them.
Alexis also gives tips on where to look to find them all year round and which ones to avoid.
